I contacted two of my three and both are very opposed and will vote no.  I guess that is expected from NCW.

The only thing this would do is create criminals out of honest people. You can bet your ass that should this happen countries like China would start mass producing bullets and there would be a huge black market that even "honest Joe" would go to.

It hasn't worked for drugs what makes them think it would work for bullets, drugs are illegal and yet we have a huge problem with them getting into the country.

If it does go through I would try to get hooked up with some people out of the country to manufacture them, you would make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

I will leave the smuggling to the experts, there will be millions to be made just in manufacturing plus it wont be illegal. I'm sure the bullet manus. have already looked into this. Just like junkies, the people that want it will find ways to get it.

I don't want to be starting up a rumor mill but I just recieved a e-mail about ammo and upcoming legislation.  The e-mail is as follows:

 It has already started...

Ammunition Accountability Legislation

Remember how Obama said that he wasn't going to take your guns?  Well, it seems that his allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo!

The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana ) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers.
Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011.  (Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!

If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states:  Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington.

Send to your friends in these states AND fight to dissolve this BILL!!

To find more about the anti-gun group that is sponsoring this legislation and the specific legislation for each state, go to:
http://ammunitionaccountability.org/Legislation.htm

 >:(   IMO the government can't keep track of sexual predators, illegal aliens or poachers.... Why do they think that this will be anything but a big cluster-*$#@!!!!

I got emails back that said it was dead.

However I dont see any harm in emailing your oficials to let them know that you are pro gun, or anti ammunition accountability law anyway.

Yes you do, they were all stolen.  Just like mine
Progressives are coming for your guns.
What are you going to do?

Well me, I do not have any guns, gave away or sold them 15 years ago.
