Another good opener ( daughter 1st buck)
« on: October 14, 2014, 06:34:51 AM »
We went and bought our ticket for the ZOO and got out as quick as we could. Its a good thing we had these scouted out. My daughter was able to fill her 1st deer tag ( 1 shot 258 yards 300 RUM 210 VLD, it was not pretty), we found some sheds that we missed last year, and filled another bear tag. 2 days of deboning, capeing, and packing out meat, Im exhausted feels good to be back to work. I was able to cancel my vacation and save it for our real hunt out of state next week.

Nice work!  Congrats to the young lady
