I read your account again.   Really the only thing I have to lecture you about is that you spent 4 rounds presumably of 5 and you have 3 wolves that could want to eat your bacon.   Other than that, I think you did good.   Crud photo or not, I'd love for you to post

interesting, as I was up in the sawtooths [wa] for a week of deer.We saw 2 deer in 6 day's.We saw wolf scat,in each basin we hunted.We hunted around Hoodoo pass area.8012 ft elevation. I'll be looking for a new hunting area.

I'm sorry but I'll never understand the logic behind people saying wolves are good for the ecosystem.  They have no natural predators and they reproduce at a much faster rate than the animals they kill. 

So, can one of the people that say wolves are good for the ecosystem please riddle me this; In the years to come when their numbers become much more substantial and they continue to only grow in population and the deer and elk numbers continue to dwindle at alarming rates, how then will the wolves be good for the ecosystem???  Remember, wolves never ever stop killing and the animals they kill have absolutely no defense against them.  So how can a perfect killing machine that never stops, continually reproduces at a considerabally faster rate than anything they kill,  be good for the ecosystem???  Please do tell!!!

And to the OP, kudos to you sir for having a moral conscience!!  Even if it went against what, some, choose to call the natural balance of the ecosystem.

I watched three wolves in the blues chase my Bull and his cows from last year for five full minutes. when I talked to the Game warden about it he told that they where just passing through. He said if there was a pack living in the era he would be hearing more reports, so obviously they where just moving through.
Nice guy but I don't like his kind of logic, unfortunately its going to get worse before it gets better.
