Search for "angled" in the search box and you'll see a number of threads come up on this topic.

In short, some guys preferred angled because they are easier to use from a window mount in their truck.   :chuckle:

Actually I find that angled is more comfortable for long glassing sessions.

I would think straight would be better for a truck.

If you're sharing with a buddy angled is easier. If you'll spend most of your time on top of a mountain looking down at a steep angle you may find straight better.

Straight. They point more intuitively to the spot you want to see. Funny watching my buddy set his up and try to find something on a hillside with it.

Depends on the use, if your hunting the high country and looking up angled is the best. If your hunting from the top of the mountain down I would go with straight. Angled is more comfortable, straight is easier to line up and pick out what your trying to look at. As long as you buy swarovski you'll be happy no matter what!!!!

The same thread two years apart? Maybe he's in the market for a spotting scope again? Or database glitch?
