Whidbey Deer?
« on: October 25, 2015, 08:47:24 PM »
Just curious are there any public area's to get out with my son for deer hunting on Whidbey? Not looking for anybody's "X" but just an area that we can get out and spend some time in the woods. Thanks and any help is welcome.

Can I please get a PM too ..

heading to Whidbey late Muzzleloader.  I was planning on hitting a public forest, but from searching for it on here, sounds like I am making a mistake.

thanks

To be honest .. Ill pull the Vet card.  1/509th Infantry Airborne - Scout Platoon.

I went on my 1st Hunt this year, a Elk Hunt in the nannam.  It was glorious.  Land was like Montana.  I saw 10 Cow, heard one Bull, and called in a 5 Point Bull.  We played for about 20 minutes.  I am a greenhorn.  I knew it was a no shoot, but really, really enjoyed the moment. *yes, I now know to enter the COW lottery for GMU I was in .. I don't think anyone harvested a True SPike, .. all Cow with tags.

I have no idea where to Hunt deer.  I am keen on Archery, and Muzzle.  I like to stalk.

Can ANYONE PM a general, or specific area for Deer.  I bought a West side Muzzleloading tag for Deer.  So I cannot hunt Eastside this year.

Area meaning: go here, park.  walk ..

Thanks
