That's a good day of hunting. Did you hunt from the boat?

Not a picture of a hunt but the results of a successful weekend of hunting. Bacon wrapped duck steaks.

Here's today's results. Could not get another dark goose to fill out the limit before the wind got a little too much for our decoys.

One snow and a banded dark goose from Summer Lake.

Awesome - wish we could get into the specks. Don't see much of them locally.

Partner and I scraped up a couple limits. Pic of mine. Very tough day shooting as the birds didn't want to decoy, just buzz us at mach 2 then flare up hard and keep going. That 25 shell limit at Nisqually can sure make it tough on a guy like me.

Me and a friend planned on skipping class but only missed our first class and made it back in time for our next one. This is a hunt I'll remember the rest of my life.
