Rattle can rebuild
« on: February 02, 2016, 02:50:50 PM »
So I bought a Remington 700 Sendero from that scary jerk "biggerhammer".

He was right, it was a little rough and had seen it's share of home brew paintjobs.

I have an old Leupold with an interesting history that was given to me and I thought WTH, i'll try and match the optic and get in touch with my inner redneck.

Before and after.

I need to clear the rifle and that should make the optic match a little better

Did you hang it off the bumper and drag it down the road a ways before you mounted it?
Put some clear over it Gas Monkey Garage style.
Does she shoot?

Looks great to me.  Pretty close to the same as all my rifles

Uhm, somebody scratched your paint?
