As of Aug 1st, the limit will be 4 adult salmon, but release wild chinook. I haven't been down there this year yet, but I believe it was early August when it started to heat up last year.

It's one thing to ask how the fishing is, it's another to ask a question that you can answer yourself in 1 minute after consulting the regulations.
I don't understand why people get so testy when asking questions pertaining to regs. Maybe someone isnt near the regs or isnt as well versed in them as other. Arent we all here to help a fellow sportsman out or just out for yourself. If i had the regs in front of me id try and help ya out man

The regs are always "right in front of you".I am here to help fellow sportsman and hopefully receive help myself but I expect people to put in some basic research first before asking a question. I see it as respecting people's time.
The subject of the post was not regulation related, it was about Willapa Bay, in which I am interested. If he was just cofirming his reading of the regs, it would have been helpful if he had said that in his question.I agree the regulations are often confusing and bouncing interpretations off of others can be helpful. With respect to Willapa Bay, the regs are pretty clear on daily limit. And I also agree, this isn't worth beating to death, this is the last thing I have to say about the regs within this post.
