Got this nice healthy tom at the set where the furry turds were at. Hes at least 20 lbs and had lots of fat on him. For a while now I've been wanting to save the skull from a cat but my 22 always destroys them so today I decided to noose him and that was actually surprisingly easy as fast!
Love the snow for really showing what kind of activity you get around you traps. No surprise to me there was coyote tracks at 5 of my cat sets. Even fresh tracks near the cage where the cat was this morning. That cage was down an old road and coyote tracks went all the way to and past the set. But about half way to it you could see where the cat came out of the bushes and walked all the way to and in the cage. I had a trail cam at one set and there was yote tracks right in front of it so there should be some pics. I'll check the card here in a little bit.

Got a decent size beaver today. Packing him back to the truck was no fun in the brushy area I had the cage set and I swore there was no way he was less than 60 lbs but turned out he was only 47.  :chuckle: should still be an XXL at least.

I could swear every beaver is over 60lbs when its a mile hike through brush to get him back to the truck!

:yeah: Exactly!
It actually wasn't too far to pack him, maybe 150 yards, but it was thick enough to where I would have to toss him a few feet and then crawl through some crap and pick him back up and toss again every 20 yards.
