I would put 100% of my time and energy into killing a 200"+ mule deer.  If I had some spare days I'd go find a whitetail.  After that I'd spend my remaining days gazing upon my mule deer.  Blacktails don't interest me in the slightest.  Sorry blacktail guys :chuckle:

I would do exactly this...

Crazy man.   :chuckle:
I wouldn't even be will to spend $40 on a tank of gas to get over there for a weekend :chuckle:

Wouldn't you go for the mule deer tag rather than the three specie tag if all you want to hunt is MD?  :dunno:

Odds of the raffle are with the buyer of the three deer option versus mule deer.

And the thread asked about the 3 deer raffle specifically.
Go make a mule deer raffle thread if you want.
This ones about the 3.

Don’t make me report your post!  :IBCOOL:

I wouldn’t worry about strategy because that raffles mine. I’ll let you know strategy after I have filled all three. :chuckle:

i'd do a swap hunt with a blacktailer for a whitetail on my place.  for a whitetail i'd make coffee and open the curtains and watch for him.  might do the same with a muley but i think i might get more aggressive and go look for a biggun.

Instead of size I would try and harvest 3 bucks in a very small geographic area. I think I could do it in a 10 mile radius for all three species.

I'd hunt the beautiful blacktail until I found the right one. Then I'd rattle the tasty whitetail. Lastly I'd hunt the ugly mule deer, make sausage out of the meat and give it away.  :chuckle:

I'd hunt mule deer for 4 months and burn the other 2 tags.
