Moses lake pheasant?
« on: November 16, 2018, 07:06:14 PM »
I'll be in Moses lake till Monday and I brought my shotgun with me any local pheasant spots worth burning up some shoe leather on? I'm by myself with no dog just looking for a bird or 2 if they are to be had in the area any suggestions appreciated!

Without a dog...Well, good luck; not only in finding them to shoot, but after the shot.

Several WDFW Pheasant Release Sites nearby; check out the WDFW website. A release should be forthcoming prior to Thanksgiving.

Better than cleaning house or sitting in the office.

I like the picture.

I love being out in the desert on a cool, clear fall day. Cant wait to get out starting next week for the late archery season. Sometimes you start out the day with thick pea soup fog and chilly conditions. Then the sky opens up and all that was hidden is exposed and the warmth of the sun hits your body while still seeing your breath.
