The picture looks like it was enhanced. Looks odd to.me.

Its called standing way behind the cat while your buddy takes a picture from below the cat! Makes them look  bigger but that is still a really nice lion and a giant no matter how they took the picture or where it was actually shot :chuckle: Even if its fake news glad it was posted!

There’s a guy who posted in this thread who is friends with the guy who killed the lion. It’s not enhanced. It’s not from Trout Lake. It’s legit.  There is a good angle on the photo making the cat look bigger, but like Idaho guy said, it’s a giant either way.

Cody's oregon cat is a freak and was pure muscle! I've seen every picture there is of his cat and its huge any way you look at it. Based off of pictures i think it's significantly bigger than the legit 197# cougar that was caught/tranqued and weighed in WA last year.

Big Cat with out a doubt, but some of the pictures take away from the cat-trying to make it look bigger than it is. Based on some of the pictures it looks like a Tiger without the stripes....

They didn't weigh it. He got it in the bottom of a nasty canyon so they took the hide, skull, and all the meat they could carry.

Everyone has an opinion, this is that stupid drama I was talking about... doesn't matter if it's long armed or not. The cat is BIG, was big. Whatever... I wanted to know if it was shot near Trout Lake. Not what you guys thought about longarming in the photo. That was it. It seems like some folks don't even read all the other posts before they just start typing...

Hey the cat is big and it takes long arms to reach around it and hold it up.  :chuckle:

I think if you shoot it you get to take pictures however you want,  :twocents:
Not like the photo is what gets anything in the record books.

I know, it just seems like some folks immediately attack it for what it's not worthy of, instead of just appreciating the chance to see it in the first place...
