Be interested to see where folks are with points. I have 12 deer and 10 elk. No man’s land. In that same time, I’ve drawn top tier units in CO, ID and Nevada. 3 in Idaho and 2 in Nevada.Kinda wish I never started in Utah. Once I use my pts, I’m done.
I have 7 general deer tag pts, I need to hunt the general as I have twice as many as it takes to draw the “toughest” unitI need to stop buying them...
You go check it out and I’ll share my pts with you the following year Hell, I’ll have enough for 3-4 guys!
Now I'm second guessing myself, I've wanted out of the points game here in wa and now I want to start all over in another state at almost 50 years old? I'm thinking I'll just pass, Idaho will be my go to non resident hunt, with no points game to play I'll feel much better about it. I do appreciate all the help though and wish you guys lots of luck! Those permits looks crazy hard to draw, I hope your all young guys with lots of time to kill.

You need to be planning on HUNTING not point building. If you are trying to get a top tier unit you will always be behind but theres mountains of tags across the west that can be had with 0-3 points. Lots of which will be far better than WA premier draw units. Start hunting man!
