« on: March 27, 2019, 04:41:49 PM »
Looking to sell or trade 2 firearms:

1)  Model 98 Mauser stamped with "1830" and a German Eagle, 8mm Mauser. No other markings I can see, but the stock, barrel and action are in great shape.  $200

2)   Glenfield Model 60 by Marlin in .22 cal.  This rifle is in great shape as well.  $125 OBO

Can transfer in Renton or Seattle, buyer pays transfer fees.

The mauser is truly a good buy for anyone who has the desire to make a custom rifle. bolt is already turned, safety and drilled for scope mount. or for that matter the 8mm is a pretty good cartridge on its own. if I didnt already have 4 mauser actions stockpiled I would really buy it. I have made a rifle for each of my sons,   well am working on the last one a 35 Whalen, as he lives in Alaska. I have made 2 in 275 Rigby 2 257 Roberts one 308 one in 35 Remington one in 458 Winchester. ( the 458 was made to shoot cast bullets at 47 -70 pressures I dont need the recoil of a magnum load ) and yes that,  more rifles than sons but I made a few for myself.

someone buy this rifle and make yourself a custom rifle.
