How did you do?  With the weather today if you stayed out very late you got some sun...

. Should be about 40 feet deep, small orange fly from Schindlers Fly shack has been killing it.  Shoepeg corn in tuna oil with garlic salt.

We did it a couple years ago, great fishery before anything else is open.  I think we might pick up two koke rods this year, I'm thinking we will catch many more not using salmon rods as they don't exactly hit it like a freight train.

There is a guy up here in Arlington that makes tackle, has a YouTube and was a great resource, I'll have to find his name and post it.

those yellow eagle claw kokanee rods for like 19 bucks are great.  that's what i run when im out on the lakes
caught my biggest rainbow trolling with one of those and a little baitcaster out on lake wa, burned my thumb trying to slow the drag but that was a fun one!

Just moved to Lake Stevens. Fished for kokanee a lot of the eastside and never needed to bother with downriggers. What difference do they make on Lake Stevens? My little boat is not really set up for them...

I like em but not required.  I've hooked kokes 40 feet down but you can likely get by with a trolling sinker and work the top 15 or 20 feet easy enough
