Well, I didn't make it out today. Hopefully work goes smoother tomorrow. Anyone been out? Any reports?

I was out today, still slow.  At least I can't catch anything.  The Lake has warmed to 46.5 degrees on the South end, one degree cooler on the North.  A good deal of weeds are now floating around and fouling the gear.

Weather is great, I might have gotten a sunburn.
What boat were you? Please tell me you were the guy with the put Hillary in jail bumper sticker!!! That truck is awesome.

No, that wasn’t me.  I was in a 16’ white River Hawk – my 7 yo granddaughter was at the helm from time to time – so we might have been going in circles.  Launched from Wyatt park.

We dug the boat out today and it's all ready to go, just waiting for our grocery delivery of corn as we stopped going inside grocery stores a week ago.

Is it just me or is the Ford backup assist kind of a gimmick.  Turn the dial, the wheel turns, seems easier to just turn the wheel.  Maybe it will become more useful when I try it on an actual ramp, but I just don't really get it to be honest.  My son and I did have some fun setting it up and enjoying the sun though.

What's the temp of the lake?

We're going to hit it sometime tomorrow, certainly not at the crack of dawn, but it will be nice to get out and at least go for a slow motion boat ride.

We're just like you but 2' longer with a top and likely looking like we have no idea what we are doing.

What's the launch/parking situation these days, is it free with WDFW hang tag or has the county suspended fees?  I saw WDFW handed it over to the county.

I use the east launch because its literally 1 min from my house and just park my rig in the street.

Wyatt Park is now Davies Beach (city of Lake Stevens) - I think the fee is $10 - or they will honor the Snohomish county annual permit.  The other launch is $5.00.  Your WDFW permit is no good.

Good luck👍

Been out several times. Local lake and Merwin. Not even one strike or nibble. Merwin I heard has been tough. Some getting limits, some getting a couple. Me I’m just getting 🦨🦨🦨. So Friday after another zero bite day.  I spent two hours hopefully washing the stink off the boat. I’ll find out if it works in a few days I hope😉 Good luck guys! The tugs the drug😉🥃🇺🇸
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.
