WTS Kimber Mountain Ascent 270 WSM
« on: April 24, 2019, 03:53:40 PM »
Kimber Mountain Ascent in 270 WSM. $1250 bare rifle. Have a few boxes of 130 Nosler Accubonds to go with it. Will also send 2 sets of Talley rings low and medium. Willing to work a deal for the rifle and rings that will include a set of dies, some brass, and some 270 Nosler Accubonds in 130 and 140 grain. Used this rifle to take 2 Muleys at 560 and a nice bore at 350. No more mountain trips for me. Buyer to handle FFL would prefer to meet in Kelso WA at Gators but willing to drive a little. No thanks on the trades guys cash will do just fine.

What kind of groups is this rifle shooting? 1/2" or better?  Looking for any trades?

Iíve never had the rifle in a sled but .5-.8 all day. Iím fairly certain I was the problem on the groups that crept closer to 1 MOA. I have some data on a 4831 SC 130 AccB load I started to test that I never followed through with after I ran into a box of federal premiums using a 130 AccB. Managing 3/4 MOA groups off the shelf and having little kids the, reloading just seemed a waist of my time. Iím not looking for any trades at this time.

I do....well working on it at least. The 6.5 I have sure has a sweet feel and shoots nice. I'm just now scoping it and will write up a review.  The OP has a nice gun there. Ok, thread jack over.

I am willing to split a drive with someone to make the sale, FFLs are easy to find.
