Idaho Land for sale
« on: July 30, 2019, 01:56:50 PM »
20 acres near Saint Maries, Idaho. Benewah county.  Great spot for hunting, borders thousands of acres paper company land to the north and state land to the west.  End of the road privacy.  Good access most of the year, you would need a sled for about 3+ months of the year, unless you stayed on top of the plowing, which in some years would be tough to do.  Power is 400ish feet away.  It has a couple of nice spots for a cabin.  Great views to the north.  LOTS of good whitetails, some elk, tons of moose, several good bears, a couple of lions and bobcats.  I have seen a fair number of grouse as well.  Water is on the property, but it is hard to access=steep.  It is secluded, but about 3ish miles from the southern end of Lake C'dA and about 5 miles to Saint Maries.  It is currently in timber management and that makes the taxes around $85 a year.  You can access a BUNCH of paper company land with your ATV from this spot.  Only reason I am selling is to put the money into my other 20 acres north of Worley, Idaho.  $65,000.  With the right downpayment amount I would consider doing owner financing.

Family interested in the property.  Is it listed with an agent? We are going over the 17th of August to look at some other pieces.  Would it be ok to look at this as well.

Absolutely you are more than welcome to check it out.  I can meet you there if you want.  It is currently listed with Saint Maries Realty, Eddie Elper.

If only!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Wish I were in a position to buy! I have cruised a lot of timber in that country, and I can attest it is great timber ground and hunting ground! And beautiful.
