Holy smokes folks - I go away for a day and you guys are doing all the work here!  Thanks for the interest and support; I actually enjoy doing this for this group.

I'll try and answer a few questions -

Roughly how many pounds are in your picture on the baking sheet?

I believe that pic of crab clusters was about 5#-ish.  Fed three people easily with a few side dishes and a couple barley pops apiece.   I've found that about a cluster per person is a generous portion for people who like some crab.  It's pretty rich stuff, a bit moreso than Dungeness, in my opinion.

Are you shipping or doing the Washington tour again???  :o

No shipping charges or need to arrange for that, it's all delivered to agreed-upon pickup points that work for everybody.  I'll range far and wide to make it happen for you guys before Christmas, though.  And with the generous offer of help from @ridgeratt above and possibly a few other unwitting recruits, I'm sure it will come off pretty smoothly.   :chuckle:

I'm definitely in, trying to get a couple of guys at work to go in as well.  How does your shipping work?  Is it better to put together several smaller orders into a single shipment or just ship everyone individually?
Great questions.

For the fish pricing, if you have one guy place a single order to hit the box size discounts, and divide it up amongst your friends after you get it home, that's going to be cheaper by the pound.

For shipping, I'm the main guy.  Thank goodness I love to drive around the state and meet new folks along with the folks I haven't seen in a long time.  The last big buy I did on frozen fish was done via me driving to main distribution locations and handing fish off.  Worked out great, I think.  There were several guys that picked up for others and hauled them out to the hinterlands (like @ridgeratt running north, @machias covering the ID panhandle, @woodchuck doing the Walla Walla shuffle, etc.).  I'm based in the Everett area, but am planning on doing runs going North to Bellingham,  South to Vancouver/Portland, and East to Spokane/South Central to Tri Cities.  Willing to stop nearly anwhere on the way to meet up and hand off fish.  If there happens to be a decent amount of fish heading to Metaline Falls and we can't arrange for an intermediate transfer, then I'll go to Metaline Falls.  Just trying not to drive 100 miles out of my way for two halibut portions to help keep costs down.

If we just can't seem to make a connection via the HuntWa transport network, we'll discuss other options that cost extra.  Wasn't a problem last time, though.

Hope this answers your questions?

I’ll take 2#ish of black cod filets, I’ve always wanted to try it.  I’ll meet you wherever you are Everett to Mt Vernon, no need for a special stop for a small order.

Maybe I missed it - how does payment work?  Just need to know if I need to show up with cash or if we prepay!  Assume we communicate via private message for meetup details?  In the Olympia Tacoma area

I would like the following

1 case of prawns
10 lbs of scallops

Thanks!
Don
