Winchester model 70 post 64 30-06
« on: February 09, 2020, 08:33:08 PM »
Iím looking at selling my Winchester model 70 post 64 30-06, itís in great shape and shoots great. I have some ammo to go with it. I donít know a ton about these other than I just donít shot it anymore and would like to see it go to someone who would use it.
It has the factory sights on it with I believe a 25Ē barrel.

Iím open to possible trades. Weatherbys particularly catch my eye but cash is king. Buyer pays transfer fee. And can send pics upon request.

$500 obo

I gave some miss information here. I was under the impression that this was a pre 64 it in fact is not. The rifle was given to me years ago and was always told it was a pre 64 so serial 700,000 and under. Mine is 77x,000. Sorry to everyone that sent me pms and contacted me about this rifle. I will adjust accordingly

Everybody likes to turn their noses up at the post 64 m70s but the same guys usually wouldnít think twice about buying a Remington 700. The m70s are very similar but have better features like an integral recoil lug and 3 position safety. The post 64s are some of the best deals in a nice hunting rifle youíll find, especially if itís an xtr model.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun
