Been trying to give my wife enough time to get some of her projects done so I can finish straightening up my man shed. Have a couple rifles that need to be thoroughly cleaned, and want to load some 300 savage and 270 ammo with some different powder and bullet combinations.

Also have a 375 ruger that I picked up on an impulse buy almost 6 months ago. Found a Leupold vx3i 1.5-5x20 with the super cool German #4 reticle and mounted it in QD rings. Loaded up some “mid level” 235gr ammo with some h414 that was taking up space on the shelf, still have yet to shoot it. Need to find out what my pain tolerance really is, to see if it’s gonna be a keeper or if I need to “downgrade” to a 9.3x62 or 35 Whelen for my “big gun”  :chuckle:
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I’ve been cutting trail and building fence up on our property.  Looking at building one of those pallet sheds to store some chairs and minor stuff we don’t want to pack back and forth

Hoping OR keeps their State land open.  No shooting in much of WA now.

I thought BLM was still open? Unless they just closed recently.

Last week went to Wolverton Mt gun club. The day I didn’t check their calendar. Was the day they closed it for china flue. Lately loading for 223 Wylde and Ruger 204. Today most likely the Grendel.

Just started using Hornady custom grade, nice dies.
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

Shooting new rifle, shooting others as well.  WIll be mounting scope in a few days and then shooting some more, then most likely moving on to loading.  Also verifying collected data vs. app entries.  Shoot bow once the weather straightens out again.  Coyotes raising hell with neighbors baby lambs so watching for an opportunity to smoke those as well.

I’ve been messing around with 139 grain Lapua Scenars in my Creedmoor. I think I have my load figured out, just waiting on a fresh box of bullets to get here so I can verify my drops at longer range.

Waiting for a couple things to arrive to finish my .223 wylde ar build.

Still waiting on my .450 bushmaster upper

Since im waiting for my .223 suppressor to get out of jail i figured i may as well get a bolt action .223 with a threaded barrel.  Picked up a ruger american predator.  Took the rail off and put talley lightweight rings on.  Mounted a 4-16x44 viper thats been sitting in my closet for a few years.  For now i just zeroed it at 20 yards, turned it down 20 clicks, and at some point bere soon ill be taking it to my parents house to use my dads bench and range, try out a bunch of different ammo, see what shoots the best, and finish dialing it in.

Put a red dot on my .444 and dialed that in

Waiting on a strike eagle to arrive, going to be my new .243 scope.

Set up and reloaded 500 rounds of 300 blackout subsonic that shoot great by the way.  220 grain nosler partition round nose pushed by 12.1 grains of CFE black.  Cycled the action every time and sounded great with the suppressed AR pistol.

Working the tractor to clean up the yard.

Cleaning up the shop and getting getting all the hunting gear organized for this fall.

Washing and detaileing all the toys...SxS, snowmobiles, etc.

Playing lots of UNO with the family.

The mrs. and I cleaned the house in detail, reminded me of when I was back in the Marines. Went Grocery shopping. Worked out in garage gym.

While I was in garage I looked at the work bench (that i just built last year) and thought “that needs to be linger than 5’.” So I’m going to rebuild it and extend it 2’ to make it 7’ longer. I need the space if i’m going to get a third reloading press.

I am in LE, so I am able to get away from house 40hrs a week.

You inspect her hospital corners with ruler and bounce a quarter off the bed?

Cleaned out my wallet. I was about as thick as a brick and had 0 cash in it.  I have cleaned my reloading area, bench, cabinets, drawers, ect. I made an inventory of firearms with serial numbers and that went in the small safe. Going to reload some 6.5 or 223 later on today. I have also been trying to pick a couple guns a week and take them all the way down for a good deep clean and reoil.
