Pretty sure office-wise, WDFW is shut down right now. DOL is pretty shut down right now also. Not sure how or if that would play together.

I thought I read Inslee vetoed a bunch of money that was supposed to shore up the wdfw budget on friday...IF true, I cant imagine they wouldn't get results out soon so they can get folks to buy before special permit apps close...every dollar counts when you are broke :dunno:

Someone in their office had enough time and money to send out an email and remind us all to put in before it closed!  They will have a drawing.

Not up yet.  I'm anxious to find out as I have about enough to draw both elk and deer.  And, it'll influence what I end up doing for applications and general seasons in Oregon.

It's been a few years since I dialed in the muzzleloader, so that would be fun to dust off and bring out again.

:yeah:

I went in with 9 elk points thinking I've had the right amount for the last 5 years.

I drew elk with 7 i think.  Of course i was in alaska during all of archery, muzzy and rifle season, so it was a total waste.  Im out of the game now.  This is the first year i didnt apply for multi deer either.

Not sure you understand how our point system works. You could draw with one point or 20. Just more likely with 20.

How can you tell wdfw or the dol is shut down?????

I did points for elk and I will just buy the deer if I don't get it but I'm more looking forward to the draw just because it's something hunting related to think about. Hope it's soon.
