The flows are nuts this year.  The Kettle river is almost 1500 cfs  faster than this time last year.

The Columbia River is at 203k cfs.

Anyone hear of any reports recently? Or is everyone off chasing salmon?

Last Friday there were several boats on the river.  Watched 3 different guides on the river. It was hot but not as hot as now.  I think people are catching some fish.

I have been out 3 times and only hooked up once and lost it. I'm hoping to get out this weekend.

Fishing has been good around Kettle right now.  Lots of keeper sized fish being taken.  I think the spawners have returned and the fishing has improved.

My wife caught her second keeper last weekend and I caught my first keeper of the year. I was able to take my 82 year old uncle out and he was able to catch 3 one was a keeper. He was a fishing fool back in the day but has never caught a sturgeon. One more weekend left.

Nice fish! When did they put the dock in? I stopped going there because there was no dock.
