Hey all...I Drew the 49 Degrees North Early Bull Moose tag. I'm hoping to chat with a few people that have hunted Moose or other game animals in the unit and would be willing to help a fellow hunter out with some pointers, advice etc. Thanks in advance :-)

Solid tag. I would recommend introducing yourself and telling us a little about you.

Vandeman17 My name is Chris Watters. I live in the Entiat Valley and have been hunting since I was a teenager. I'm pretty much outdoors Camping, hunting and/or fishing etc. if I'm not working. I'm just looking for some advice on the area and what not. I'm willing to trade pointers on the Entiat if someone were to get drawn in my area.......

My advice would be to shoot the biggest one you can find.

I’ll add, above the road.  :)

Good luck.  Tag is certainly on the decline but should still be a great hunt.

How many points did you have to draw this tag? Scout early and often, chum the local land owners and hunt till you drop...good luck :twocents:

only reason to scout would be to look over areas you wanna be in come season. Looking for moose in the summer is pointless with the Oct 1 opener...bulls will travel miles upon miles and landowners?? most of the moose are on public land not in hay fields
