For Sale: “Like New” Trango 3.1 four season tent $425

For Sale:  “Like New” Trango 3.1 4 season tent $425
Asking Price:  $425
Will deliver to anywhere within a general triangle of Bellevue/Marysville/Sultan.  Or I will ship and split actual shipping costs 50/50 with you.

I purchased this tent new in 2014.  It is about as lightly used as you can get!  It has been used overnight one night (no rain) at Leavenworth as a test run and set up two other times (Once when I first got it I set it up in the living room, and again in June of 2020 when I set it up for the attached photos).  When I set it up this June for photos, I did not see any spots, tears or stains.  Appears to be in pristine shape (but we can set it up prior to purchase to verify).  Still has that new tent smell!  These tents were running $600 to $700 new when I bought it, and the current model Trango 3’s are priced at $820 on Mountain Hardware’s site (https://www.mountainhardwear.com/trango-3-tent-1854061.html?dwvar_1854061_variationColor=675#start=1)

If you fully set it up with all possible stakes and guy-lines, it will take 38 stakes and 18 guy lines (I would only use 10 stakes and 6 guy lines for everything but the most extreme situations).  IMPORTANT:  I am not sure how many stakes and guy-lines it came with, but it currently has 28 alpine stakes, and about 14 or so guy lines (I can get an exact count if you wish).

Few comments about the tent:  This is not a typical back-country tent-it is the definition of Bomb-proof.  It is an expedition class 4 season tent found at basecamps like Denali and Everest.  It will withstand brutal winds and snowfall with style!  In doing some research I was challenged to find any negative comments about this tent.  It will legitimately sleep 3 with room for packs and boots in either the front or rear vestibules.
Some Specs I dug up on line:
-Capacity:  3
-Minimum Weight:  10 lb 8 oz / 4.76 kg
-Packed Weight   11 lb 6 oz / 5.15 kg
-Floor Area:  48 sq ft / 4.5 sq m
-Number of Doors:  2
-Number of Poles:  5
-Number of Vestibules:  2
-Vestibule Area:  18 sq ft 1.7 sq m / 5 sq ft 0.5 sq m
-Interior Height:  48 in / 122 cm
-Packed Diameter:  8 in / 22 cm
-Packed Length:  24 in / 61 cm
-Pitch Light Weight:  7 lb 13 oz / 3.53 kg
Video of Mt. Hdw Staff pitching the tent

Note:  If you are looking for a multi-purpose backcountry tent for summer/spring and fall use, this is probably not the tent for you.  However if you plan to be out in nasty winter weather, are heading to AK to hunt where you may experience high winds and the worst of weather, or think you might need to ride out a bad storm for a couple days, this would be a solid tent to consider.

PM me if interested!

It's a solid 4 season tent.
