Trail cam taking pics of nothing?
« on: July 11, 2020, 12:57:04 PM »
I have a Bushnell trophy cam HD with built in viewer. I set it up and when I check it there are hundreds of photos of nothing. I even set it up in my garage overnight where nothing moves and check it with hundreds of pics. New batteries are already 2/3rds shot. I have it on low sensitivity and still get a couple of hundred shots. Sound familiar to anyone? And of course its off warranty now.

I had one of the aggressor models with the built in viewer too and same thing, crazy false triggers, then it just *censored* the bed entirely.  My other bushnells work great, but aggressors can do a good amount of false triggers depending on sun exposure.

Same here. I have an older Busnell with viewer that works great even after a bear chewed on it a bit. I will call bushnell monday and see what they say. Thanks.

Had somewhat the same problem, noticed a wasp pass close by the camera and "click".  Started studying some of the phantom pics and noticed several actually had some sort of flying insect on them. Doesn't explain the enclosed garage problem though.

Still working on it but cant figure out what the trigger is.
