Howís it going out there?

Lots of deer, plenty of nice bucks! Yet to see an elk, not much talk of elk although a lot of people are pretty tight lipped. Have met several great people that offered advice and exchanged numbers. Will keep at it!

Got some insight on the training schedule. Nothing else is going to be opening for quite some time. Like during the whole muzzy hunt and rifle tags.There making up for lost time due to covid.

Yes I was told the same thing. Disappointing to say the least especially when you throw the Master Hunters into the mix as well.

I was drawn for a cow tag. Haven't been over yet to pick up my pass for the base.  Do they give you a map of the different training areas when you pickup your pass or can this info be found online?

Iíve always been given a big fold out map with my rec card. Keep in mind the gym is where you get the card and they are closed on weekends currently.

Yes you get a map of all the zones.  And than you call after 5 the night before to see what zones will be open the following day.  When you get there to check in you can only pick 3 zones at a time.

Seeing any elk yet. We ran into a small herd today. 3 spikes, 4x4, 6x6. And several cows. They gave us the slip. Predators really screwed it up!

Saw 6 bulls today, managed to get some lead into one!! Not the one I wanted but he presented a 150yrd broadside so I couldnít pass it up...
