Cowlitz
« on: September 26, 2020, 05:07:24 PM »
Haven’t been down lately, was concentrating on archery elk, but I checked the TPU fish reports, and it looked like there was pretty decent numbers coming in. Was curious if anyone has been down there fishing lately. If so how has it been?  :dunno:

We've been getting a bunch of silvers at the seperator. Well over a 1000 a day. Hauling fish upstream 7 days a week now. Took the grandaughter out for a few hours today. No bites saw a few roll. These early silvers arent good biters but sometimes you can convince them to hit jigs or spinners. I heard it had been  good down by Castle Rock but it will be mud down there for a few days.

I swung by with my wife this evening.  (9/26) people were catching old boots at Barrier.    I did not see a single silver caught and we watched for 30 min with 11 fisher people.

Well, I plan on heading down there Monday morning, I’m gonna give it a shot and see what happens. Wonder how it’s been lower down by blue creek? I’m gonna try it out and see what’s happening. I will report back and let you guys know how it goes......  8)
