DNR access ?
« on: October 27, 2020, 08:45:53 PM »
I have hunted DNR lands just like this in other areas but not this site specifically. I don't intend to hunt this land but public land adjacent on two sides. I just want to ride my e bike to the fence at the back end of this property. I am going to scout/hunt this anyway but I am just curious what others would do during their e scouting?

The contracts have standard language that the land is still open for public use. They can only close access with authorization from the state and only for specific reasons. If you have questions contact DNR. They have been very responsive and helpful when I have questions. It’s your land, use it.

I've hunted a piece with similar layout. The farmer had an obvious parking spot at the end of the road, and access was by walking, to the timber on the other side.

I re read the question. I would not ride a bike through a crop

Not through a crop, only the two track around the edge. I checked this spot out. Its in my pocket but not my go to. Opening day is next Saturday.

My traffic was far less intrusive than some I encountered.
