Timberland access question
« on: October 27, 2020, 09:41:32 PM »
I'm looking at a chunk of private timberland on OnX that is owned by HAWAII ERS TIMBERLAND LLC, which appears to be the public employee retirement system of Hawaii. Anyone know if they allow public walk on hunting? I've also noticed several other plots owned by insurance companies (Manulife, John Hancock, TC&I Chinook), any idea how to find out about those?

Those are all Hancock managed properties. You'll need to check on access as it varies.

Do you by chance have a website? The Hancock site I was using (www.hancockrecreation.com) didn’t show they owned that area when I looked at their map. Or do I just have to call?

My guess is you're look at ownership in SWW?  If so, you'll probably have better luck calling the Cathlamet office.
