Great buck, but why do people sit five feet behind the deer? It cheapens the photo when that's obviously a stud of a buck

Let me guess. 250lbs of meat too?
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

Nice bucks. Hope there is one left. I will be in the Desert unit Sunday to start scouting for the Nov. 7th opener.

That's a good buck in anyone's book.

They probably added tip to tip or outside spread. I did quick math and hit low 170s.

Either way it's better than anything I've killed in the last 10 years. Good job to the huntress.

The 193" general season buck hasn't been posted in this thread yet.

:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Yeah someone post it! It won't let me look on Rokslide and I have no interest in joining another site to waste my time on...  :chuckle: I like it here

With the 12 inch tine comment also referencing a 10 inch droptine i think its about the buck on page 2 that fits those characteristics. Or I could just be confusing the whole situation more. All awesome bucks regardless

I've scored hundreds and hundreds of deer and have a pretty dialed in eyecrometer.  Im not gonna have a score argument. Its a fantastic animal regardless of score.  But an FYI, these are the G3's
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton
