1st Time Trapping Questions
« on: November 13, 2020, 05:01:08 AM »
Hello:

Just got my Trappers License and I am looking for websites and resources to help with trapping supplies , trap tags, cages, and information for stuff I should purchase before I start trapping. Does any one have any good websites and resources that would help out a first time trapper for what to buy. Thank you!

For cages your best outlet is here as there’s a few trap builders on this forum Bruce “ Humptulips” builds beaver and cat traps
For lure, trap tags and trapping specific F/T is probably your best source
What are you going to be targeting? Then we can help fill the blanks in for lure to use and bait and trap setup

I am targeting Fox, Bobcat and Coyote.

How do I get in contact with Bruce "Humptulips" for a cage?

Thank for F/T trapping supply. I will check it out

Thank you for the help everyone. I wanted to get started right with the right equipment.

I sent you a private message.
Definitely bobcats are doable, I think fox although I have no personal experience with them . I would urge you to forget about coyote. It is an exercise in frustration trying to cage trap one of them.
