Did you uncover that cat trap or was it out in the open like that.

Bullytrout put a trail cam up at that box and see what happens and yes Fisher will eat them no problem
After having a couple chewed by rodents I’ve been setting them so when they pull the trap out they swing out and hang in the air , I don’t think that would help with a Fisher but I think it would solve another marten or weasel and rodents from doing damage! Any pics of your sets ?

I just screw them to a tree like pictured.  Now I have the traps chained above the box but with the striker bar trap retention setup I am trying out only 50% of the time is the trap dislodged and the animal hanging freely.

It’s a small world.  I don’t think I have ever met Ron but I see his truck while out trapping and we get duck carcasses from the same guy.

Thanks. Was just curious. Whats the dimensions on the cat trap? I have my trappers license and never tried to cage cats

12”W-18”T-38”L
I’ve used a bunch of different size variations and these work great for all cats of any size with conibear triggers
