WTB Weight Set

Looking for any bench bars and weights, dumbbells, or even bench sets. Let me help you make some room in your house or garage.

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Just checked my storage and the weight set that I thought was there was given away at my last spring cleaning.  :sry:

Stuff is crazy expensive now used equipment still going higher than retail.

If you are starting out from scratch Rogue sells "Boneyard bars" which are blemished but function perfect. Also PRlifting is in Everett, you can buy new and save on shipping from them when they have stuff in stock.

I found a good bench on sale at Fred Meyer last night. So now I'm really just looking for the weights and bar. This bench has a squat rack which is appealing to me, but means I need a little beefier bar than your standard Weider set. Thanks for the tips Wetwoodshunter.

I have rubber hex dumbell weights in storage. Probably 5 or 10# up to 45 in 5# increments. If interested I'll go confirm. $1 a pound must take all. No rack.

No he didn't. His p.m. was an offer backing up if you said no. He does want them. I'm not going past Tacoma to sell them though.

I agree, I have a few things from titan and they are great. Their power racks are well built and more budget friendly than the route I took.

I have thier wall mounted plate holders and curl bar. I was going to get a cambered bar from them but Bells of Steel just came out with a new one. Bells of Steel is also worth looking at, they are comparable prices to titan but I wouldn't get a rack from them due to they are 2.5" x 2.5" vs a standard 3x3. Looks like your not interested in a rack anyway so that's a non-issue.

Lots of places make good stuff anymore, the trick is finding it in stock at anything resembling a reasonable price.

I bought several hex dumbbells from Walmart for less than used.  The same ones now are selling for probably 5 x the cost I paid pre-COVID.

Weight plates and barbells have always been pretty challenging to find bargains with, the number of home and commercial gyms being created is phenomenal over the last decade.

I may have what you want, actually i do have what you want just need to decide if i want to part with them as im currently using them, just not for there intended purpose  :chuckle:, i would need to figure out a replacement there current purpose.
What size bar hole do you need? I will see how much i have and what size the whole is, i also have 3 or 4 dumbbell bars.
No other bars though

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I've now got a bench and a dumbbell set, so what I really need is a bar and weights for the bench. Ideally, I'd get one of the Olympic style bars with that holds plates with 2" holes.

Ok, i checked and i have the standard  (1 inch hole) weider weights along with 4 other non branded weights and 4 pipe fitting things and 4 dumbbell bars.
3lb x 8
5lb x 10
10lb x 8
25lb x 4
10lb x 4 (non branded chrome steel)
1.3lb x 4 cast iron things that clamp to a 1 inch bar
So in Weider weights 254lbs, Non branded 40lbs - 294lbs total + the few extras
Let me know if you are interested, if not i may throw them in the classifieds, Thinking $450.00  :dunno:
