"Still think they are by far the most overpriced vehicle made."

Apparently you have not looked at how proud people are of their 7.3 Fords.

Still think they are by far the most overpriced vehicle made.

I've put 365K on one and have 360 on another with minimal expenses keeping them going. I'll happily pay more for the dependability in the mountains.

No offense meant but anyone who pays 8-9k for a 2001 Tacoma 4 banger with 252k has lost all sanity.

Yes I know that is probably what some fool will pay for the Tacoma name.

Still think they are by far the most overpriced vehicle made.

Most are saying ~7k. It's what it's worth. 250k is the scrap heap for a lot of make and models but that trucks got a lot of life left and when something breaks its cheap to fix yourself. And your never stuck just temporarily immobilized.

347k on my 91 V6 3.0 and only the body is starting to show its age and the that Toyota was driven in WA, ID, MT, OR, and Nevada last year and has been on several trips to big sky in the last few winters!

Some people don't understand!

I just picked up a 1997 Tacoma 4x4 in amazing shape with 170k miles for my son. Got it from a Marine Corps buddy for free. He didnít know what exactly was wrong with but said it was overheating before he garaged it years ago and thought it was a head gasket. Turned out to be a $7 radiator cap. He refused to take cash for it after I tried paying him.

So I have $7 invested in my soon to be 16 year olds Tacoma. Seems like I got a good deal 🤷🏻‍♂️

Iíve owned quite a few Tacomaís. Used them for commuting. I put on average 200 to 300k miles on them and then sell them. Never once did I try to make money on them when I sold them. I got my moneyís worth out of them. Put them up for sale and there gone in a day. At reasonable prices! So to answer your question sell the truck for what you want to get out of it. Not what other people think you should take someone to the cleaners.

Don't sell it! Lol I regret two vehicles sales, my 90 Toyota pickup being the most unfortunate. If you've got the space to keep it I'd hold onto it. Mine sat undriven for five or so years before it got called up to daily driver. Had 300k on it when I got rid of it (to my little sister, who sold it without giving me a heads up to buy it back) and it never had anything worse than a clutch go bad

Thanks to everyone who offered advice. I finally got around to posting the truck for sales on Craigslist. It is listed at $7500. I think that's probably high but it easier to come down than go up. I've seen trucks of the same vintage with more miles listed at $11-12K so who knows. It's sad to let go of it because it holds so many memories. If anyone has an interest send me a PM. Thanks again.

That truck is sharp. You took the time to take nice clean pictures. You will have no problem selling it.
