Pit boss
« on: March 06, 2021, 04:48:10 PM »
The Traeger finally gave up the ghost. Tired of replacing parts. Went with a pit boss 1150 pro series 2. Think I’m going to like all the cooking real estate it has. Doing the first burn now. Pretty stoked😉🥃🇺🇸
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

Tagging along. Got my first smoker a little over a year ago just to try one out. I got a close out Z-Grill for under $300. Looking what to get when this one goes south.

Never researched the pit boss.....looks like a nice smoker.  Who carries them and how do they compare to the price of Traeger's?   My traeger is 10 years old....and the auger motor is getting tired.  Still works but take a few minutes to really get that motor humming.  The time will come when I have to replace a motor or replace the unit.   :chuckle:

Well here’s #1
It works. lol have to figure out it’s real temps and hot/cold spots. I don’t like the upper rack. When grilling there’s not much room to flip steaks or anything else. It drops in an out easy so it’s no big deal removing it. Simple to run and easy to use. Bring on the next mel🤑🤑🤑
