Hawken 50 cal and kit $450
« on: March 07, 2021, 07:42:21 PM »
Thompson 50 cal hawken I made. I put upgraded irons on it and refined the lines of the stock a lot more including a shadow line cheek piece. I really like this gun but Iíve only taken it out twice, maybe 3 times and I built it in 2018. It was one of the older kits and came from an old lady in Arizonaís garage. Iíve got a fiberglass ram rod, all sorts of tips, powder horn I made, balls, patches, measuring things, powder, whole kit to go out and enjoy feeling like a mountain man. $450
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.

Took count today. 300 lubed patches, 500 cleaning patches 150-160 round balls, 150-160 primers, 15oz of pyrodex, cleaning rod, bunch of jags, primer dispenser thing, measuring thing, hammer/hook/nipple wrench combo, Hornady black powder cleaner, bore light, more tool things for ball/patch removal?

Question, Is the tang drilled and tapped with the third hole to allow installation of the TC Peep sight?

It has these 2 screws? Dunno about the peep sight, this is a 1980s era kit.
