Walmart had those for like $300-350. My buddy got one last month in water fowl camo. Long barrel super mag.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.

Amen

Walmart has, to the best of my knowledge, completely quit selling firearms

Walmart STILL sells firearms. If fact Spanaway Walmart still has rifles and shotguns for sale.  I talked to the lead Sports Dept supervisor and they said the only thing they stopped carrying was pistol ammo.  They still get shotgun and rifle ammo.  The only reason you rarely see it on the shelves now is because there are guys who call in daily and ask if shipments are trailered in that night.  Then they wait in line with a bunch of other guys while they put it on the shelfs earlyyyyyyy in the morning.  And ammo is sold out in a matter of minutes.  Been like that for several months.

Heck Big 5 Sporting is the same way.  They still have shotguns and rifles for sale, but their ammo is scarce.  They get shipments every 2 weeks and 25-30 guys wait outside in line at 5am till the store opens at 10am.  Ya might wanna check them out.  IMO Walmart still has the best "pre-covid" pricing if you can find what you want.

If you're specifically looking for a new Rem 870 ya might be out of luck being that they went bankrupt couple years ago and production ceased.  Until recently Roundhill Group LLC bought the Remington brand & assets.  Under the new company they relocated to the original Remington Production plant and was schedule to begin producing 870's again this March 2021.  Sorry for rambling a bit more then ya needed....  Best of luck
