Pro Tip Of The Day

You just got a new Thunder Beast and you decided to mock up the CB mount and suppressor. Next thing you you know, your mount is stuck in the silencer. :o
What do you do now? Try this: https://thunderbeastarms.com/forum/threads/what-to-do-if-your-cb-ba-suppressor-gets-stuck.412/

It worked for me. :chuckle:

Yesterday, with a new customer I mocked up a new  Ultra 9 6.5 on a new CB mount just to show him how it all works. The mistake I made with purpose was not torquing the muzzle device on first, since it was just a mock up with new parts. Out of habit, I hand torqued the silencer on to the muzzle device. When I went to remove it, the muzzle device was still in the silencer. After monkeying around with some ideas to get it out, I decided to look up solutions. The hammer method ultimately worked for me after hand torquing it all back on to a rifle.

Thunder Beast Ultra 9 vs Magnus vs Dead Air Nomad Ti. Hang with me here. This video is twice the length that I normally post, so just for a minute of your time I can demonstrate some the sound differences between the three.  These three silencers are good comps for cost, size, weight, and performance. You will get to hear more from them and me soon.  I know which one I like more. What's your favorite of the three?

Thank you. Yes, it’s pretty clear that the Magnus suppressed the most.

Hard to tell on a phone, did the Nomad hang with them? Curious how the TBAC 7 and the Nomad compare real world

Multiple flavors of Thunder Beast silencers are available at Silencer Shop. So far today I’ve assigned a 22 Takedown and a Magnus for two guys.

If you’re interested in Thunder Beast and want to talk about my experience with them, feel free to give me a shout.

Personally, I am using a Magnus for my 300 Win Mag and my .308, both are bolt guns. I can very comfortably shoot a whole box of .308 with the Magnus without hearing protection. With 300WM, the sound reduction is a huge improvement and while I don’t desire to shoot a whole box of 300WM without ears, I would not hesitate to put shots down range when that legal elk finally makes an appearance.
