Backcountry Frank Church bear from this past weekend. Not a huge sow, but is a beautiful blonde bear. Missed her at 760 yards, but was able to sneak in and get a 15 foot shot on her in the buck brush. Long, hot, steep packout ensued.

Thanks, everyone! I couldn't be more pumped. I can't figure out how to get the picture to flip, but this pack-out picture gives a little bit better feel for the lovely terrain we hunt over there.

Solo spring hunt in the Aladdin unit, May 2021. I’ve had good success here and the huckleberry five times now.

Nice bear!!! I’m pretty sure I killed mine adjacent to that exact same clearcut in June 2021.

Update: disregard, that red fir in the top left of your photo means it couldn’t be the same area.
