On a serious note about group apps, if one person turns in their permit, ALL group members have to turn in their permits.  And, it is very important that people who decide to turn in their permits, need to do it ASAP!!!   If wdfw doesn't have enough time to process the permits, they won't go to the next person in line!  So don't be one of those guys!!!

Unless they published it somewhere prior to the due date, if that's the way they plan to handle group apps they're going to have a firestorm of angry folks blowing up the phone lines. They didn't reference that caveat in the regs, and repeatedly sent mixed messages out via email to different people etc.

agree, this first year MAY be the only time you might get to turn one in w a group without forcing all. But I wouldn’t count on it, the person I talked to was pretty sure on that one.

she did, they won’t let one person in a group turn in a permit. I was just saying, since it’s not really explained in the regs, a squeaky wheel might get greased this year. But that’s a huge maybe, I don’t see it happening.  They know we can cheat if one person could turn in their permit and keep doing it year after year keeping and gaining points. That’s exactly what I was going to do!  :chuckle:

I'll be waiting, ready, and happy.  No worries.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
