First season on our own property
« on: July 06, 2021, 06:35:15 PM »
Posting earlier about something else reminded me that I hadn't posted (haven't been around here much) bragging about my oldest and middle sons bagging their birds within a couple hours of each other. This was our first hunting season on the property we bought. Hopefully deer season proves to be as fruitful.

Isn’t it a great feeling to watch your kids harvest animals on the family’s land.  Best decision we ever made was purchasing property for the kids to hunt without battling all the hordes of people.  Congrats and I hope other seasons are equally as fruitful.

Nice!

We had 4 hens walk down the property line by the house at our new place in WI yesterday morning.  Saw a couple of toms this Spring but I'm not sure about hunting them here, yet anyways, as they are fun to see. WI is also crazy restrictive on Spring tom permits but then is wide open either sex in the Fall, which makes no sense to me.
