Coyote Infestation- Trapper needed
« on: July 26, 2021, 10:02:15 PM »
I live in La Center. We have many coyotes coming through our property daily as well as the woods around us. I get them every day on my trail cam. Often times two or three in the same picture. This morning I had a momma and a litter of pups walking down our driveway. I have never seen it this bad.

I am hoping someone who can trap them may live close and can help thin them out for us. If that is you, or you know someone who lives close please sent me a message so we can set something up.

Thanks guys!

I'm too far away to help but I notice you do not mention damages. If you apply for a permit for padded jaw traps and you do not show actual damage they will not issue you a permit. The fact that they are there and you don't want them is not enough. You must claim actual damage.

Thanks for the info guys. No damage yet. I guess we will just keep shooting them when we have opportunities. I was hoping someone could come in, set some snares, and leave with a truck bed full.

Would be nice. They also like to see hazing and non lethal measures deployed first.

How ell do you know your neighbors? Subsonic might be an option - quieter ammo and effective close in.

I just saw one in my field this morning chasing a fawn. The doe was after him though too. I'm in city limits thanks to the annexation a few years back. They get out of control fast. More will be moving into the city green zone the next few months I'm sure.

Have high powered pellet gun with a good range. A few sore rumps should teach them. Live in Lacey.
