I tried to get a pic of 1 the other night on top of my kids play house.  Put the camera phone on night vision and it took a terrible picture. At any rate if I were to guess weight my raccoon had to be 50lbs minimum.

I know Seattle grows some monsters, kind of a different game than actual "wild" coons though. I swear I see fifty in the city for every one I see by my place.

We have some huge Trash Panda's here on Whidbey Island.  I used to sit at night with my .22LR with hollow points in it waiting as they would sneak in to our chicken coop.  Largest one I shot was 42 pounds.  Amazing how big they can get.

Gary
One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job. ~ Jose Ortega y Gasset
