I didn't plan on it this way but I have Chuck on the front cover of our Fur Shed magazine for this issue that will be hitting your doorsteps by this weekend.
So he is a picture of Chuck.

Sorry about the loss of your friend, John.

Sad indeed. I heard he was suffering from dementia and was planning on stopping by. Very nice man. Had WSTA meetings in his fur shed back in the day. A lot of good guys I met there have passed now.
RIP

A beer ?  I'm thinking many a couple more than that.
The two of them are probably trapping something up there along with the rest of the guys.
I sure hope they leave some for us when we get there.

Charlie had Alzheimer's.  They found out last year.  He stopped drinking of anything including coffee and stopped eating about four months before he pass.
His wife ran him over to Seattle to some specialist.  They put him in the hospital and ran test on him for two days.
The test came back and the one word I hate is: "Cancer."  His heart was weak, their was nothing they could do for him.
They put him in hospice and the cancer took him three days later

The best part of it all if there is any, he still knew who I was and we had a good last visit.
The service was nice, attended by many.  The Navy was there, taps was played and the American Flag was folded and presented to his wife Bev.

At the wish of the family; if anyone would like to donate anything they ask that you donate any money to "St. Jude's in his name.
If you do I want to Thank You along with the family.
JC   :salute:

So sorry for your loss.

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5
