Toxic Shot
« on: October 06, 2021, 05:51:33 PM »
I have a few question on where you can and can’t use toxic shot. I’m planning on going to an area that is edge land and also some wildlife area. What are the rules on these areas for using lead shot!

WDFW lists the areas that require non toxic shot. Most pheasant release sites require it. The rules on private land are dependent on what you shoot.  When in doubt pack steel on public land. I have an older double barrel shotgun that I can only shoot lead or bismuth  out of.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
