WTB 30/30 hunting rifle

I've been looking too.  I found a Marlin in a pawn shop in Idaho for $1,800....I passed.

I hope Ruger produces the Marlin 336. With Ruger at the helm, those rifles will return to glory, hopefully for a reasonable price.

The first Marlin rifles they will produce is the 336, 1894 and 1895.

Check out a Savage in 300 Savage, they made a ton of them. Very comparable to a 308 plus they have a rotary magazine so you can use spitzer type bullets also.

Dang 1800 at a pawn shop,  I bought a Winchester 30-30 at a pawn shop when I was 12 so that would of been 1989 and I paid 150 bucks  still got it and hope to give it to my kid one day. can't go wrong with a 30-30..
