WTB 2 Savage 24s
« on: December 06, 2021, 08:25:43 PM »
I have twin grandsons and have been on the prowl for a couple Savage 24  22/.410 combo guns..
looking for the older style, not interested in synthetics.

A little nostalgic, but we had these when we were kids and thought they would be great starter grouse guns...  I have a some time though as they are only 4   :chuckle:

Thanks!

The new model 42s are ugly but available. the old 24s are  hard to find and bucks. I love mine 22lr over 20
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

they are hard to find.    I've had a .22/20 for a long time, finally found a .223/12 but it took me a long time

I was looking for the similar earlier this year for the same reason. I was able to pick up a savage .22 mag/.410 and .22 mag/20 on Gunbroker a few months back. As much as I have a distaste for Gunbroker, I was willing to pay the $650 for each gun. Might be an option for you. Good luck, fun guns

I have a 22/410 with entire stock that needs a new extractor.  Had not really thought of selling it though.
