Hunting near Spokane
« on: December 07, 2021, 06:58:02 AM »
Hello everyone, I recently went duck hunting on the westside of he state with my brother and had a blast, shot a few ducks and now I’m hooked. I was wondering if anyone could help me with any decent places to go in the Spokane area with relatively easy access as I do not have a boat. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
"One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted...If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job."

There’s a whole lot of duck hunting east of you.   No specifics sorry.  How much are you willing to drive?

There is duck hunting near Spokane. Your options depend largely on if you have a reliable dog. If you don’t I would try jump shooting on creeks you can cross easily.
If a man does his best, what else is there?

There are tons of places around Spokane. Just get a cheap beater kayak off Craigslist and you will have 10+ locations to choose from.
