Ice Fishing Gear for sale
« on: January 12, 2022, 01:04:02 PM »
Thinning the gear out I don't have the chance to use much anymore.

First up, the Clam 360 Ice shelter.  They are $250 new.  I bought it new, still in great shape. Not an insulated model, but a Little Buddy heater keeps it toasty warm with a flap cracked for ventilation. It's a veteran of some fun trips, been to Lake Winnipeg ice fishing a couple of times, lots of local perch jerkin too.  Note:  this is currently located in "South Canada" at the moment with @ridgeratt. Most folks know it better as Orient.

$150 as-is, where is.  I might be able to help with moving it around in the next few weeks, but if you want to use it asap I'll get ahold of @ridgeratt and see what his schedule is.

Next up is a Lowrance x67c Ice Machine.  Works great, my favorite ice fish finder I've ever used.  Needs a battery, however.  It has a Cabela's 12V, 8amp battery in it that fits the base perfectly.

https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/cabelas-rechargeable-12v-battery?ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=Shop%7CCAB%7CTopPerformers%7CBoating&gclid=CjwKCAiAlfqOBhAeEiwAYi43F6Pe0wUd1aC2-7yT8mK17sxwsp1hmv5OUvy0B_J9TaHrxZchZhv8wBoC2BcQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I hooked it up to a charger and fired it up to show it works.

I've used several styles of flashers for ice fishing, and this is far and away my favorite.  No GPS, so it doesn't burn through batt's like the others do.  You can also get a suction cup transducer to use it on a skiff.

$200, located Everett

Next up is a couple of quality ice fishing rods.

The big fish rod is a 30" Frabill, Med-heavy action.  Has the sensitivity and power to land the bigger fish through the ice.  No reel on this one currently (I used a Shimano Symetre 500 on this rod).  This has helped me land a lot of walleye, some really nice ones, through the ice.  I wouldn't hesitate to use it for pike or mackinaw either.

The lighter rod is a Cabela's XML Ice rod, 28" Med action. Great rod for lighter fish, with enough backbone to handle a big fish if it comes along.  Perch, crappie, sauger, smaller wally's, whitefish, etc.  Has a Frabill ice reel on it.  Can't remember the line weight, but I'm thinking it's either 4 or 6# mono.

Rods sold as a package for $60, located in Everett.

Sorry @ridgeratt, if you're looking for an old Lowrance Fish Lo-k-tor, we used to have one but don't any more!  Like a stupid kid, I convinced Grandpa to sell that off years ago to overpay for some disposable electronics...  one of the first LCD screens.  It didn't take a paper reel to print on, seemed like magic!  :chuckle:  Those were way ahead of their time, super powerful for what they were.

If members on the  Westside are interested.  I believe I can find it a ride on Saturday for the clam. But I need to know before Saturday.
